Why the No Impact Project?
- Mission: encourage choices that better lives and lower environmental impact through lifestyle change, community action, and participation in environmental politics.
- Started from Colin Beavan and his family's year-long experiment living a zero-waste lifestyle in NYC.
- Aims to engage people "who are not already tree-hugging, bicycle-riding, canvas-bag-toting, eco-warriors".
